Just watched The Super Cops, from 1974 starring Ron Liebman and David Selby as David Greenberg and Robert Hantz.
Great movie, any one remember them from the '70's?

I sure do! I worked in the 72 when Hantz was in the squad! He'd work in the bag at times and had a shield leather that looked like an accordion strap - went up, over the shoulder and down his back! I think both of them got caught up in some shenanigans having to do with real estate or some such. Good 'ole Batman & Robin!

Joined a free week?month? of Hulu just so we could watch Nomadland with Frances McDormand.
On the surface, it appears to be a downer movie but it is all about prespective and how one looks at Fern (the main character’s life on the road).
Overall we thought a fascinating movie and thought provoking story. It was interesting that they actually used real nomads for almost all the other actors in the movie and they did not romanticize the nomad lifestyle. Just one story of many on the road.
Never get tired of watching Hell or High Water. Or John Wayne’s The Cowboys. Or Fargo. Or The Wedding Singer. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Ephesians 6:12

Her homelife was normal like everyone else's, the boring paperwork and legwork of an investigation, traveling all over to check things out, the small talk with fellow officers at a crime scene. Knowing someone did something and having to prove it. And then two minutes of terror.
